The President of the Tang Soo Do Fighting Rules which is an official member of the Hellenic Kick Boxing Association Mr. Christoforos Christodoulou, responded immediately to the call of the President of the AHEPA Chapter HJ-04 Solon Mr. Alexandros Dimas with social sensitivity and responsibility, for the delivery of an #antibullying seminar to the young children hosted at the Hatzikyriakio Children Protection Institute.
They developed psychological and practical techniques that could be applied by the children for dealing with threatening situations under the supervision of the children protection authority of the Institution.
The children responded very well to this activity, which took place in a pleasant and happy atmosphere.
Mr. Christodoulou, along with Alexandros Dimas, who was also a former student of the Art, highlighted the importance of the Traditional Martial Arts in a broader sense and not only as a mean of defense.
They mentioned that is a way to Live and Respond in all circumstances as a Fighter and highlighted Martial Arts as a fundamental part of Ancient Greek Basic Education and culture. As Herodotus said Country need people to be both Fighters and Scholars to survive.
The Tang Soo Do Fighting Rules Association, knowing that the seminar is addressing to young girls who are hosted at the Institution, ensured that it would be fully conducted only by Official Female Instructors of the Tang Soo Do Martial Art, with their own Martial Arts School, highlighting the importance of women and their true potential in all professional fields without exception.
Mr. Christodoulou being very sensitive in bullying threats offered future seminars on a broader level – free of charge – for all the children hosted in the Institute in cooperation with our Chapter and the social services who are there to protect the children.
The Directors Andrew Garifalos of the Athletic Committee and Anthimos Vougioukas of the Family Excellence committee congratulated the Martial Arts Trainers for their volunteering contribution on this important seminar which made us all in our AHEPA ATHENS – CHALANDRI SOLON and the Tang Soo Do Fighting Rules Association feel very proud & satisfied for our action.

Kάλεσμα του AHEPA ATHENS – CHALANDRI SOLON στον Κλάδο Άθλησης της Π.Ο.Κ Tang Soo Do Fighting Rules για την παράδοση σεμιναρίου antibullying στα παιδιά τα οποία φιλοξενούνται στο Χατζηκυριάκειο Ίδρυμα Παιδικής Προστασίας
Ο Πρόεδρος του Κλάδου Άθλησης της Π.Ο.Κ Tang Soo Do Fighting Rules Christoforos Christodoulou με κοινωνική ευαισθησία και υπευθυνότητα ανταποκρίθηκε άμεσα στο κάλεσμα του Προέδρου του AHEPA ATHENS – CHALANDRI SOLONAlexandros Dimas για την παράδοση σεμιναρίου #antibullying στα παιδιά τα οποία φιλοξενούνται στο Χατζηκυριάκειο Ίδρυμα Παιδικής Προστασίας.
Στα πλαίσια αυτά ανέπτυξαν ψυχολογικές και πρακτικές τεχνικές αντιμετώπισης απειλητικών καταστάσεων υπό την εποπτεία πάντα της υπεύθυνης παιδικής προστασίας του Ιδρύματος.
Τα παιδιά ανταποκρίθηκαν ιδιαίτερα στην δράση αυτή η οποία έγινε σε ένα ευχάριστο κλίμα.
Ο Πρόεδρος του κλάδου μαζί με τον Αλέξανδρο Δήμα Προέδρο του Chapter μας AHEPA ATHENS – CHALANDRI SOLON – οποίος ήταν και ο ίδιος παλαιότερα μαθητής της Τέχνης ανέδειξαν την σημασία των Πολεμικών Τεχνών ευρύτερα και όχι μόνο ως μέτρο αντιμετώπισης επιθέσεων αλλά ως στάση ζωής για όλους σε όλες τις περιστάσεις αλλά και ως βασικό μέρος της Αρχαίας Ελληνικής εκπαίδευσης.
Η Ομοσπονδία αντίστοιχα γνωρίζοντας ότι απευθύνεται σε κορίτσια που φιλοξενούνται στο Ίδρυμα ζήτησε το σεμινάριο να διεξαχθεί μόνο από Επίσημες Προπονήτριες της Πολεμικής Τέχνης του Tang Soo Do με δική τους Σχολή Πολεμικών Τεχνών αναδεικνύοντας την σημασία της γυναίκας με την πραγματική της δυναμική σε όλους τους επαγγελματικούς τομείς ανευ εξαιρέσεων.
Ο κ. Χριστοδούλου ευαισθητοποιημένος ιδιαίτερα στο θέμα του Bullying υποσχέθηκε ότι θα προσφέρει ξανά εθελοντικά ως Ομοσπονδία την διεξαγωγή περισσότερων σεμιναρίων προς τα παιδιά και πάντα με την συνεργασία των υπεύθυνων κοινωνικής προστασίας του Ιδρύματος για την ορθή προσέγγιση.
Η εκπρόσωπος του ιδρύματος και οι δύο κύριοι οργανωτές μαζί με τους Directors του Chapter Andrew Garifalos (Athletics Committee) και Anthimos Vougioukas (Family Excellence Committee) ευχαρίστησαν ιδιαίτερα για την δράση αυτή όλες τις Προπονήτριες “Ράνια Αποστολάκη (Ατραπός Αγ. Ι. Ρέντη) Ηρώ Γκάνη (Λαβύρινθος -Χολαργού) Παρασκευή Αλατζίδου (Ακαδημία Πλάτωνος) , Αλιάννα Καντερέ (Σκιρίτες Δάφνης)” για την συνεισφορά και προθυμία τους να προσφέρουν την σημαντική αυτή για τα παιδιά εκπαίδευση .
