On Wednesday 31 May 2023, the Minister of National Defence Mr. Alkiviadis Stefanis participated in an event hosted by the HJ-04 Solon branch of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), regarding National Security Strategy, held at the amphitheatre of Kallithea Town Hall.
During the foregoing event, an analysis of the geopolitical environment, the challenges, the threats, and the way that they affect our country was presented. In his address, the Minister of National Defence pointed out that Greece is powerful and projects its capability to interconnect strategic interests of the wider area, aiming at progress and prosperity.
The event was organised by the AHEPA Education committee, which is headed by the Assistant Professor of the International & European Studies Department of the University of Piraeus, Dr. Ioannis Konstantopoulos.
The event was attended by the President of the HJ-04 Solon branch Mr. Alexandros Dimas, the Vice President Mr. Sotiris Stasinopoulos, the associate professor of the Economics Department of the University of Thessaly Dr. Nikolaos Kyriazis, acclaimed members of the Academia and the diplomatic field, as well as retired Armed Forces members.
