The delivery of the second donation to the Hellenic Navy’s Fast Patrol Boats Command has been completed and the Chapter AHEPA Solon HJ-04 once more kept its promise to continue with useful donations supporting the Hellenic Navy.

This time the Chapter donated Monitors of specific requirements useful for any war vessels’ operations. The Senior Management Team representing the Chapter mentioned that such donations are useful and in this way we can all claim that we still serve and remain useful for our country.

As the President of the Chapter Alexandros Dimas stated Greece is a sea nation. Himself supports the corresponding view of Themistolis in 480 BC about the Oracle’s Prophecy  during the Persian Invasion that “the wooden wall that remains unshaken”  is no other from the sea battle units – Triremes.  The Hellenic Navy has never surrendered the flag of a war vessel and leads the way whenever this is required even nowadays under any difficult conditions.

Through the Chief of Stuff of the Fast Patrol Boat Command, the Emblem of the Command was symbolically handed over to the President Alexandros Dimas, recognizing AHEPA Solon HJ-04 Chapter’s  continuous support to the Hellenic Navy’s combat units.

Symbolically, the Commander of one of the Fast Patrol Boats that will get benefited from this donation handed over respectively the Emblem of his Vessel, thanking and acknowledging the importance of this visit that has a truly character of contribution.

President Alexandros Dimas officially thanked his Management Team that supports this Chapter’s main project and especially the Director Hellenism & Past President Christos D. Faslis, V. President Sotiris Stasinopoulos , Management Team Member Michael Galiatsatos, Treasurer Nikolaos Angelis, Secretary Panagiotis Panotopoulos the Director Civic Responsibility Agapitos Chatzielenis the member of the Shipping committee that covered major part of the donation Dimitrios G. Zafeiroudis Managing Director Thalatta Shipping Management S.A. and the Director Charity George Tsonis who also contributed and helped this make donation.

The President and the Chapter’s Representatives left pointing out that the Hellenism Committee will revert soon asking for a new appointment that will be accompanied with another contribution.
